What Has Happend?

What has happened to the American spirit? The fighter for liberty, the guardian of sovereignty. We seem to pass by real information, real news for such meaningless crap. We have become so self absorbed, so conditioned, and take for granted what we have. Do we really care about our country, or do we care only about ourselves?
I always hear people talking about sports in great depth. They know every single player, their stats, and even details on their home life. When I hear sports talk, this is all I hear. Not that sports are bad, but now is really a time to be paying attention to politics, and our country. Just take a look at Google Trends: Sports Vs. Politics. Politics pales in comparison to sports.
Why are people so disinterested in what influences our way of life? Those who are interested in politics, 99% of the time buy right into partisan politics. They stick so closely to their “party” that no matter what their parties stance is, they must vote for that particular party, and loath the other 'side'. Family's also carry this 'tradition'. They have a basic idea of what their party stands for, and never questions it. Sort of like sports. You're always going to like your favorite team, right? Though you'll probably know more about your team, than your party.
Some people are so disenchanted with politics they don't get involved what so ever. They know the governments corrupt, they know bad deeds are occurring, and yet have not drive to try and change it. Why? Too big for one person to do anything? Not enough passion to get involved? To busy with day to day life? To accustomed to the day to day life to change it?
What am I getting at? Well, what I'm always wondering is what is it going to take? What is it going to take to wake up the majority of Americans. We all fell for the false flag attack routine. If we had been paying closer attention we would have seen the signs. We could have made a stand then. Are we finally going to wake up when we're on the cattle cars on route to a FEMA Concentration Camp, when it's too late. Will we wake up when martial law kicks in? It will be too late then also. Sure, we're upset that our gasoline prices are going up and up. The national average now is $4 per gallon. Do people know why the prices are going up? Do they have any idea our dollar is in a rapid decline, and is in peril. Do they know that artificial scarcity drives prices up too? Will we do anything about it? Will we abolish the unconstitutional Federal Reserve?
The answer is no. I don't believe enough people will wake up in time to realize they're on fire. They're too caught up in the holographic liberties, and holographic freedoms. Take a look around. Take a step back and look at the whole picture. All the little pieces of the puzzle start coming together. You'll see the full picture, and wonder what you can do. What will you do?

Bilderberg is Over

Well, the Bilderberg meeting is over. The world's agenda has been set for the year. Obama and Hillary met in a 'secret' meeting in DC as the Bilderberg meeting kicked off. Does that mean an Obama/Hillary ticket? Very well could be. Though who ever his running mate is, it is most likely going to be a CFR member (including Edwards). We'll see what the inside sources have to report about this years meeting. Look to Alex Jones, Jim Tucker, and Daniel Estulin for those reports. Amazingly what ever is discussed in these meetings, eventually come to fruition. I recommend watching Alex Jones' "Endgame: Blue Print for Global Enslavement", and/or read Dan Estulin's book, "The Bilderberg Group". Educate yourself. Learn how we're all being duped into a New World Order. One in which we will be powerless slaves.

Police State ::: Here for your protection.

I saw a couple of videos today. Both made me very very pissed off. People don't see, that we really are living in an uprising police state. I fear, it will get much much worse, before Martial Law sets in. Go ahead, watch these videos, and these are NOT isolated incidences, and much worse happens that is not video taped, but documented. 6-7 police officers (male & female) FORCEFULLY strip search a 41 year old woman who was a VICTIM of an assualt. Watch for yourself.

In another case a 14 year old boy was bullied by a police officer for skateboarding and called the police officer "dude". Again watch for yourself...

Another video from last year:

Both officers were suspended. In the video just above Officer Williams was cleared of any wrong doing. You can read more on this by following this link:
http://www.infowars.net/articles/february2008/120208Cop.htm

All of this is happening to condition you to accept it. The airports, random traffic stops to swab your DNA to see if you're a serial killer, torture, going door to door checking for guns.
The more and more we see this, the more we become 'okay' with it. Similar to how mind control works with repetition.
I'm hoping some of you wake up to this. This is not America anymore. I don't know what else to say really, I just want my country back.

Reeducate

Alright people, seriously...it's time to wake up. People around me are waking up, and they, in turn, are waking up more sheeple. It's not enough. I want to see every single one of my friends open their eyes, to turn off their TV, put down there phones, and open up their mind and research the world around them.
"Whats going on? Whats so god damn important that I have to stop what I'm doing and pay attention?" Are you feeling our current economic situation? Are you sick of working your ass off, and it still seems like you're getting no where? Are you sick of the war(s)(war on terror, war on drugs, war on crime, war on America)? Are you sick of politics? Do you care about politics? Do you believe in the left/right paradigm? Do you know what the Federal Reserve is? Do you know who Ron Paul is? Do you know what is in the vaccines you take (your children take)? Do you know anything about the Fluoride that is probably in your drinking water, & toothpaste? Have you heard of Gulf of Tonkin incident? Operation Northwoods?
These are some serious question you need to find the answers too. You'll be shocked at what you learn. It's hard to wake people up without the proper introduction, a baby step in if you will, into the real world. Don't believe the documentaries I have posted for you below this. Please, go out and look up what these documentaries are saying. Don't believe me, go look it up. Just please STOP being a sheep. Sheeple should be talking about how the middle class, and America are being thrown to the wolves! America is in serious, dire need of help! (Please don't just go to wikipedia for your answers, very unreliable source)
If any of you have any questions, go ahead and ask. Or just discuss it with me. Here are some VERY important documentaries to get you started on your path to enlightenment. You can find most if not all of these on torrent sites. If you want to view it in full high quality. They're available to watch for free on Google in lesser quality. The choice is yours.

Ron Paul - New Hampshire

In case you haven't been following whats been going on in the primaries, let me fill you in. McCain won New Hampshire, HAH! I find that very funny, also funny - Gouliani getting 4th. After the primary vote fraud is surfacing, and theres proof to back it! Not just fraud against Ron Paul, but also Mr. Obama.
First off, New Hampshire uses DIEBOLD! A deplorable company responsable for counting votes, in secret. Their machines have been hacked over and over again. Here are some videos to watch about that:

A family of 8 from Sutton who voted in the primaries, noticed a total of zero votes for Dr. Paul after the votes were tallied. Alex Jones caught wind of this, and got in contact with Bev Harris from http://www.blackboxvoting.org/. She then, called Sutton's town clerk to find out what exactly was going on. As it turns out, there were 31 votes that were "left off the tally sheet". Well well! I can see one or two votes, that qualifies as a mistake. Thirty one votes is fraud. That's 7.43% of Sutton that was not counted. We need to bring this to light. People know there is voting fraud, but how long are we going to let this slide?
Ron Paul is more than just a candidate. He is a catalyst for a movement. A movement to get our country back from the fascists, and global elite. He has united a lot of us who are already awake. My hope is that you too will wake up, and see whats going on around you, and that YES it does affect you.
The GrannyWarriors are raising money to send a republican cadidate to NH to file for a recount. Apparently he's on his way to NH now!

National Intelligence Estimate

Heres an article thats from the RonPaulLibrary.org. Ron Paul briefly discusses about the NIE report released a couple of days ago. How can nobody see this man is the best thing for our country? Enjoy the read.

Iran Intelligence Report Highlights Need for Ron Paul’s Foreign Policy of Peace

Ron Paul Press Release

December 5, 2007

National Intelligence Estimate Shows America Cannot Afford to Make the Same Mistakes with Iran that Were Made With Iraq

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – For months, while other GOP candidates have pushed for attacks on Iran, Ron Paul has rejected a pre-emptive attack and emphasized peace and diplomacy.

On June 5 at the CNN GOP debate in New Hampshire, the candidates were asked if they would support a pre-emptive strike against Iran using tactical nuclear weapons.

Each of the candidates responded that they would not rule out the use of nuclear weapons, except Congressman Ron Paul who said:

“I do not believe that [pre-emptive war] is part of the American tradition. We, in the past have always declared war in the defense of our liberties or [to] go to aid somebody.

“But now we have accepted the principle of preemptive war. We have rejected the just-war theory of Christianity. And now tonight, we hear that we're not even willing to remove from the table a pre-emptive nuclear strike, against a country that has done no harm to us directly and is no threat to our national security!

“We have to come to our senses about this issue of war and pre-emption. [We have to] go back to traditions and our Constitution, and defend our liberties and defend our rights, but not to think that we can change the world by force of arms and to start wars.”

Dr. Paul, who served in the air force Air Force for five years and is a veteran member of the House Foreign Relations Committee, has dealt with important global issues for decades. Media reports indicate that Mike Huckabee had not even heard about the NIE report when questioned by reporters Tuesday.

“The NIE report makes it clear: When it comes to Iran, Ron Paul was right and the other candidates have it wrong,” said Ron Paul 2008 spokesman Jesse Benton. “Dr. Paul has the understanding and experience to protect America’s national security through peace and diplomacy.”

Please Ignore Ron Paul (Repost)

I came across this letter on Digg. At first it comes across as an insult, but it's not! It's a nicely worded letter to the 'old media'. You can find the original document here: http://stealthfiction.com/please-ignore-ron-paul/

An Open Letter to ‘Old Media’.

Sometimes I wish I understood, but could not seem to comprehend why you do it, but then minutes later I did not give a damn anymore. And that is why you will fail.

Why are you so set on who you want the presidential candidates to be? Is it that you see that the Status Quo is threatened? Is change such a bad thing? Maybe the reason doesn’t matter. In the end of each day, no matter if you are a democrat, republican, liberal, conservative, neo-con, corporate power representative, or what ever else … We are all still United States Citizens. We all care about America, right … Right? The sad truth is that we do not. Perhaps liberty is not a concern of the powerful, and If you do not care, then I can not care for you. And that is why you will fail.

For years you have force fed what you deem to be important down the throats of Americans citizens. Minimized most of what the public should be concerned about while sensationalizing the mundane and trivial. Did you do it for the all powerful dollar? The same dollar that is now worth half of what it was worth a few years ago? Even as I ask, the reason does not matter. And that is why you will fail.

I must admit that you almost had me. At one time I felt that the United States reigned supreme, the greatest, the infallible, the just. Those were happy times … so I happily ignored reality while I sort-of-listened to your newscasters tell me how it really was. Oh yes, I remember … The ‘Sold’ war. The logic, your logic, to me it made sense. it was simple really, simple enough for the average channel surfer or newspaper reader to get: To defend, we must go on the offense. To protect ourself, we must attack them. And years later, after the reasons we went there had changed and changed again … And when there was no army left for us to fight … new reasons were given to us as to why are still there and why we had to stay. But, like so many others, I could flip through the channels, not feeling anything as the casualty toll rose and rose. And that is why you will fail.

If not for you, maybe I would not have ever given a damn. I do not remember exactly when, or how it happened, I can only remember the ‘why’: Giuliani Vs. Clinton, or maybe Rommy Vs. Obama or maybe it would be McCain VS. Edwards. Flick, flick, flick, same, same, same, ‘one of these guys WILL be your candidate, we say so.’ I change the channel again. I could not care less because I did not care at all. And that is why you will fail.

I must thank you for opening my eyes. You see, somewhere in the haze, something began to stand out. Every once in a while I would be trying to ignore you while waiting for the next rerun of my favorite show and you would continue to tell us who our president would be. Then you went out of your way to tell us that there was someone who has ‘No chance’ and you did not know why they were even trying. At first I dismissed it, after all, you were telling us who was ‘winning’, and you could be trusted, but the more I heard about the guy who absolutely had ‘No CHANCE!’ This man, ‘Ron Paul, would never … could never …’ the closer I began to listen. Somehow if you hear shouting for so long, it simply becomes background noise and the smallest whisper can be heard. In all of your screaming about who was winning, the only thing I picked up was the name that you said, could not. And that is why you will fail.

“Google Ron Paul!” a sign said. It was somewhere on a side street in MD. I passed it as I drove home one day. Because of you, I remembered that name. I wanted to see what it was about this person that made you so sure he could not be in the running. So I went home and looked up the name. I do not even have to tell you what happened then. Almost any American that does it for themselves already knows what I’m talking about. I will never forget that it was your bias against this man that made me remember him. And that is why you will fail.

Now as I close out this letter, I imagine that for every person who looked into this so called ‘No Chance’ candidate you think to your collective selves: ‘ “So What! You are in the minority, you still have no chance! No Chance! No Chance!” ‘ I would just like to point out that our numbers (even though they continue to grow substantially), do not matter. They truly do not. Have you realized why yet? No? It’s because the average person that listens to you is exactly like I was. You tell them who you think our next president will be and they will happily sit back and accept that you know what you are talking about. On their recliners or couches, fine with the status quo, they do not think they count and they will not make an effort to vote. After all, You told them the battle has already been decided. With the exception of the ones who look in to the only person who can not win, the rest will not give a damn at all … ever. Meanwhile this minority, this revolution, it does what it does, these amazing things that have never been done before, these are the people who are out there making a change, and then there is you, continuing to do the best thing for us by ignoring Ron Paul. And that is why you will fail.

10 Steps to a Fascist State

Some more information for you all out there. I get most of my information from the Alex Jones' show, and knowing that most of you don't listen to him, I like to pass on some info that is extremely important. Info you should know! Well, Naomi Wolf has a great article. She was on the Alex Jones' show to discuss this article (11/28) Without wasting time, here it is:

Ten Steps To Close Down an Open Society

1 Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy

After we were hit on September 11 2001, we were in a state of national shock. Less than six weeks later, on October 26 2001, the USA Patriot Act was passed by a Congress that had little chance to debate it; many said that they scarcely had time to read it. We were told we were now on a "war footing"; we were in a "global war" against a "global caliphate" intending to "wipe out civilisation". There have been other times of crisis in which the US accepted limits on civil liberties, such as during the civil war, when Lincoln declared martial law, and the second world war, when thousands of Japanese-American citizens were interned. But this situation, as Bruce Fein of the American Freedom Agenda has noted, is unprecedented: all our other wars had an endpoint, so the pendulum was able to swing back toward freedom; this war is defined as open-ended in time and without national boundaries in space - the globe itself is the battlefield. "This time," Fein says, "there will be no defined end."

Creating a terrifying threat - hydra-like, secretive, evil - is an old trick. It can, like Hitler's invocation of a communist threat to the nation's security, be based on actual events (one Wisconsin academic has faced calls for his dismissal because he noted, among other things, that the alleged communist arson, the Reichstag fire of February 1933, was swiftly followed in Nazi Germany by passage of the Enabling Act, which replaced constitutional law with an open-ended state of emergency). Or the terrifying threat can be based, like the National Socialist evocation of the "global conspiracy of world Jewry", on myth.

It is not that global Islamist terrorism is not a severe danger; of course it is. I am arguing rather that the language used to convey the nature of the threat is different in a country such as Spain - which has also suffered violent terrorist attacks - than it is in America. Spanish citizens know that they face a grave security threat; what we as American citizens believe is that we are potentially threatened with the end of civilisation as we know it. Of course, this makes us more willing to accept restrictions on our freedoms.

2 Create a gulag

Once you have got everyone scared, the next step is to create a prison system outside the rule of law (as Bush put it, he wanted the American detention centre at Guantánamo Bay to be situated in legal "outer space") - where torture takes place.

At first, the people who are sent there are seen by citizens as outsiders: troublemakers, spies, "enemies of the people" or "criminals". Initially, citizens tend to support the secret prison system; it makes them feel safer and they do not identify with the prisoners. But soon enough, civil society leaders - opposition members, labour activists, clergy and journalists - are arrested and sent there as well.

This process took place in fascist shifts or anti-democracy crackdowns ranging from Italy and Germany in the 1920s and 1930s to the Latin American coups of the 1970s and beyond. It is standard practice for closing down an open society or crushing a pro-democracy uprising.

With its jails in Iraq and Afghanistan, and, of course, Guantánamo in Cuba, where detainees are abused, and kept indefinitely without trial and without access to the due process of the law, America certainly has its gulag now. Bush and his allies in Congress recently announced they would issue no information about the secret CIA "black site" prisons throughout the world, which are used to incarcerate people who have been seized off the street.

Gulags in history tend to metastasise, becoming ever larger and more secretive, ever more deadly and formalised. We know from first-hand accounts, photographs, videos and government documents that people, innocent and guilty, have been tortured in the US-run prisons we are aware of and those we can't investigate adequately.

But Americans still assume this system and detainee abuses involve only scary brown people with whom they don't generally identify. It was brave of the conservative pundit William Safire to quote the anti-Nazi pastor Martin Niemöller, who had been seized as a political prisoner: "First they came for the Jews." Most Americans don't understand yet that the destruction of the rule of law at Guantánamo set a dangerous precedent for them, too.

By the way, the establishment of military tribunals that deny prisoners due process tends to come early on in a fascist shift. Mussolini and Stalin set up such tribunals. On April 24 1934, the Nazis, too, set up the People's Court, which also bypassed the judicial system: prisoners were held indefinitely, often in isolation, and tortured, without being charged with offences, and were subjected to show trials. Eventually, the Special Courts became a parallel system that put pressure on the regular courts to abandon the rule of law in favour of Nazi ideology when making decisions.

3 Develop a thug caste

When leaders who seek what I call a "fascist shift" want to close down an open society, they send paramilitary groups of scary young men out to terrorise citizens. The Blackshirts roamed the Italian countryside beating up communists; the Brownshirts staged violent rallies throughout Germany. This paramilitary force is especially important in a democracy: you need citizens to fear thug violence and so you need thugs who are free from prosecution.

The years following 9/11 have proved a bonanza for America's security contractors, with the Bush administration outsourcing areas of work that traditionally fell to the US military. In the process, contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars have been issued for security work by mercenaries at home and abroad. In Iraq, some of these contract operatives have been accused of involvement in torturing prisoners, harassing journalists and firing on Iraqi civilians. Under Order 17, issued to regulate contractors in Iraq by the one-time US administrator in Baghdad, Paul Bremer, these contractors are immune from prosecution

Yes, but that is in Iraq, you could argue; however, after Hurricane Katrina, the Department of Homeland Security hired and deployed hundreds of armed private security guards in New Orleans. The investigative journalist Jeremy Scahill interviewed one unnamed guard who reported having fired on unarmed civilians in the city. It was a natural disaster that underlay that episode - but the administration's endless war on terror means ongoing scope for what are in effect privately contracted armies to take on crisis and emergency management at home in US cities.

Thugs in America? Groups of angry young Republican men, dressed in identical shirts and trousers, menaced poll workers counting the votes in Florida in 2000. If you are reading history, you can imagine that there can be a need for "public order" on the next election day. Say there are protests, or a threat, on the day of an election; history would not rule out the presence of a private security firm at a polling station "to restore public order".

4 Set up an internal surveillance system

In Mussolini's Italy, in Nazi Germany, in communist East Germany, in communist China - in every closed society - secret police spy on ordinary people and encourage neighbours to spy on neighbours. The Stasi needed to keep only a minority of East Germans under surveillance to convince a majority that they themselves were being watched.

In 2005 and 2006, when James Risen and Eric Lichtblau wrote in the New York Times about a secret state programme to wiretap citizens' phones, read their emails and follow international financial transactions, it became clear to ordinary Americans that they, too, could be under state scrutiny.

In closed societies, this surveillance is cast as being about "national security"; the true function is to keep citizens docile and inhibit their activism and dissent.

5 Harass citizens' groups

The fifth thing you do is related to step four - you infiltrate and harass citizens' groups. It can be trivial: a church in Pasadena, whose minister preached that Jesus was in favour of peace, found itself being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service, while churches that got Republicans out to vote, which is equally illegal under US tax law, have been left alone.

Other harassment is more serious: the American Civil Liberties Union reports that thousands of ordinary American anti-war, environmental and other groups have been infiltrated by agents: a secret Pentagon database includes more than four dozen peaceful anti-war meetings, rallies or marches by American citizens in its category of 1,500 "suspicious incidents". The equally secret Counterintelligence Field Activity (Cifa) agency of the Department of Defense has been gathering information about domestic organisations engaged in peaceful political activities: Cifa is supposed to track "potential terrorist threats" as it watches ordinary US citizen activists. A little-noticed new law has redefined activism such as animal rights protests as "terrorism". So the definition of "terrorist" slowly expands to include the opposition.

6 Engage in arbitrary detention and release

This scares people. It is a kind of cat-and-mouse game. Nicholas D Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, the investigative reporters who wrote China Wakes: the Struggle for the Soul of a Rising Power, describe pro-democracy activists in China, such as Wei Jingsheng, being arrested and released many times. In a closing or closed society there is a "list" of dissidents and opposition leaders: you are targeted in this way once you are on the list, and it is hard to get off the list.

In 2004, America's Transportation Security Administration confirmed that it had a list of passengers who were targeted for security searches or worse if they tried to fly. People who have found themselves on the list? Two middle-aged women peace activists in San Francisco; liberal Senator Edward Kennedy; a member of Venezuela's government - after Venezuela's president had criticised Bush; and thousands of ordinary US citizens.

Professor Walter F Murphy is emeritus of Princeton University; he is one of the foremost constitutional scholars in the nation and author of the classic Constitutional Democracy. Murphy is also a decorated former marine, and he is not even especially politically liberal. But on March 1 this year, he was denied a boarding pass at Newark, "because I was on the Terrorist Watch list".

"Have you been in any peace marches? We ban a lot of people from flying because of that," asked the airline employee.

"I explained," said Murphy, "that I had not so marched but had, in September 2006, given a lecture at Princeton, televised and put on the web, highly critical of George Bush for his many violations of the constitution."

"That'll do it," the man said.

Anti-war marcher? Potential terrorist. Support the constitution? Potential terrorist. History shows that the categories of "enemy of the people" tend to expand ever deeper into civil life.

James Yee, a US citizen, was the Muslim chaplain at Guantánamo who was accused of mishandling classified documents. He was harassed by the US military before the charges against him were dropped. Yee has been detained and released several times. He is still of interest.

Brandon Mayfield, a US citizen and lawyer in Oregon, was mistakenly identified as a possible terrorist. His house was secretly broken into and his computer seized. Though he is innocent of the accusation against him, he is still on the list.

It is a standard practice of fascist societies that once you are on the list, you can't get off.

7 Target key individuals

Threaten civil servants, artists and academics with job loss if they don't toe the line. Mussolini went after the rectors of state universities who did not conform to the fascist line; so did Joseph Goebbels, who purged academics who were not pro-Nazi; so did Chile's Augusto Pinochet; so does the Chinese communist Politburo in punishing pro-democracy students and professors.

Academe is a tinderbox of activism, so those seeking a fascist shift punish academics and students with professional loss if they do not "coordinate", in Goebbels' term, ideologically. Since civil servants are the sector of society most vulnerable to being fired by a given regime, they are also a group that fascists typically "coordinate" early on: the Reich Law for the Re-establishment of a Professional Civil Service was passed on April 7 1933.

Bush supporters in state legislatures in several states put pressure on regents at state universities to penalise or fire academics who have been critical of the administration. As for civil servants, the Bush administration has derailed the career of one military lawyer who spoke up for fair trials for detainees, while an administration official publicly intimidated the law firms that represent detainees pro bono by threatening to call for their major corporate clients to boycott them.

Elsewhere, a CIA contract worker who said in a closed blog that "waterboarding is torture" was stripped of the security clearance she needed in order to do her job.

Most recently, the administration purged eight US attorneys for what looks like insufficient political loyalty. When Goebbels purged the civil service in April 1933, attorneys were "coordinated" too, a step that eased the way of the increasingly brutal laws to follow.

8 Control the press

Italy in the 1920s, Germany in the 30s, East Germany in the 50s, Czechoslovakia in the 60s, the Latin American dictatorships in the 70s, China in the 80s and 90s - all dictatorships and would-be dictators target newspapers and journalists. They threaten and harass them in more open societies that they are seeking to close, and they arrest them and worse in societies that have been closed already.

The Committee to Protect Journalists says arrests of US journalists are at an all-time high: Josh Wolf (no relation), a blogger in San Francisco, has been put in jail for a year for refusing to turn over video of an anti-war demonstration; Homeland Security brought a criminal complaint against reporter Greg Palast, claiming he threatened "critical infrastructure" when he and a TV producer were filming victims of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana. Palast had written a bestseller critical of the Bush administration.

Other reporters and writers have been punished in other ways. Joseph C Wilson accused Bush, in a New York Times op-ed, of leading the country to war on the basis of a false charge that Saddam Hussein had acquired yellowcake uranium in Niger. His wife, Valerie Plame, was outed as a CIA spy - a form of retaliation that ended her career.

Prosecution and job loss are nothing, though, compared with how the US is treating journalists seeking to cover the conflict in Iraq in an unbiased way. The Committee to Protect Journalists has documented multiple accounts of the US military in Iraq firing upon or threatening to fire upon unembedded (meaning independent) reporters and camera operators from organisations ranging from al-Jazeera to the BBC. While westerners may question the accounts by al-Jazeera, they should pay attention to the accounts of reporters such as the BBC's Kate Adie. In some cases reporters have been wounded or killed, including ITN's Terry Lloyd in 2003. Both CBS and the Associated Press in Iraq had staff members seized by the US military and taken to violent prisons; the news organisations were unable to see the evidence against their staffers.

Over time in closing societies, real news is supplanted by fake news and false documents. Pinochet showed Chilean citizens falsified documents to back up his claim that terrorists had been about to attack the nation. The yellowcake charge, too, was based on forged papers.

You won't have a shutdown of news in modern America - it is not possible. But you can have, as Frank Rich and Sidney Blumenthal have pointed out, a steady stream of lies polluting the news well. What you already have is a White House directing a stream of false information that is so relentless that it is increasingly hard to sort out truth from untruth. In a fascist system, it's not the lies that count but the muddying. When citizens can't tell real news from fake, they give up their demands for accountability bit by bit.

9 Dissent equals treason

Cast dissent as "treason" and criticism as "espionage'. Every closing society does this, just as it elaborates laws that increasingly criminalise certain kinds of speech and expand the definition of "spy" and "traitor". When Bill Keller, the publisher of the New York Times, ran the Lichtblau/Risen stories, Bush called the Times' leaking of classified information "disgraceful", while Republicans in Congress called for Keller to be charged with treason, and rightwing commentators and news outlets kept up the "treason" drumbeat. Some commentators, as Conason noted, reminded readers smugly that one penalty for violating the Espionage Act is execution.

Conason is right to note how serious a threat that attack represented. It is also important to recall that the 1938 Moscow show trial accused the editor of Izvestia, Nikolai Bukharin, of treason; Bukharin was, in fact, executed. And it is important to remind Americans that when the 1917 Espionage Act was last widely invoked, during the infamous 1919 Palmer Raids, leftist activists were arrested without warrants in sweeping roundups, kept in jail for up to five months, and "beaten, starved, suffocated, tortured and threatened with death", according to the historian Myra MacPherson. After that, dissent was muted in America for a decade.

In Stalin's Soviet Union, dissidents were "enemies of the people". National Socialists called those who supported Weimar democracy "November traitors".

And here is where the circle closes: most Americans do not realise that since September of last year - when Congress wrongly, foolishly, passed the Military Commissions Act of 2006 - the president has the power to call any US citizen an "enemy combatant". He has the power to define what "enemy combatant" means. The president can also delegate to anyone he chooses in the executive branch the right to define "enemy combatant" any way he or she wants and then seize Americans accordingly.

Even if you or I are American citizens, even if we turn out to be completely innocent of what he has accused us of doing, he has the power to have us seized as we are changing planes at Newark tomorrow, or have us taken with a knock on the door; ship you or me to a navy brig; and keep you or me in isolation, possibly for months, while awaiting trial. (Prolonged isolation, as psychiatrists know, triggers psychosis in otherwise mentally healthy prisoners. That is why Stalin's gulag had an isolation cell, like Guantánamo's, in every satellite prison. Camp 6, the newest, most brutal facility at Guantánamo, is all isolation cells.)

We US citizens will get a trial eventually - for now. But legal rights activists at the Center for Constitutional Rights say that the Bush administration is trying increasingly aggressively to find ways to get around giving even US citizens fair trials. "Enemy combatant" is a status offence - it is not even something you have to have done. "We have absolutely moved over into a preventive detention model - you look like you could do something bad, you might do something bad, so we're going to hold you," says a spokeswoman of the CCR.

Most Americans surely do not get this yet. No wonder: it is hard to believe, even though it is true. In every closing society, at a certain point there are some high-profile arrests - usually of opposition leaders, clergy and journalists. Then everything goes quiet. After those arrests, there are still newspapers, courts, TV and radio, and the facades of a civil society. There just isn't real dissent. There just isn't freedom. If you look at history, just before those arrests is where we are now.

10 Suspend the rule of law

The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 gave the president new powers over the national guard. This means that in a national emergency - which the president now has enhanced powers to declare - he can send Michigan's militia to enforce a state of emergency that he has declared in Oregon, over the objections of the state's governor and its citizens.

Even as Americans were focused on Britney Spears's meltdown and the question of who fathered Anna Nicole's baby, the New York Times editorialised about this shift: "A disturbing recent phenomenon in Washington is that laws that strike to the heart of American democracy have been passed in the dead of night ... Beyond actual insurrection, the president may now use military troops as a domestic police force in response to a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, terrorist attack or any 'other condition'."

Critics see this as a clear violation of the Posse Comitatus Act - which was meant to restrain the federal government from using the military for domestic law enforcement. The Democratic senator Patrick Leahy says the bill encourages a president to declare federal martial law. It also violates the very reason the founders set up our system of government as they did: having seen citizens bullied by a monarch's soldiers, the founders were terrified of exactly this kind of concentration of militias' power over American people in the hands of an oppressive executive or faction.

Of course, the United States is not vulnerable to the violent, total closing-down of the system that followed Mussolini's march on Rome or Hitler's roundup of political prisoners. Our democratic habits are too resilient, and our military and judiciary too independent, for any kind of scenario like that.

Rather, as other critics are noting, our experiment in democracy could be closed down by a process of erosion.

It is a mistake to think that early in a fascist shift you see the profile of barbed wire against the sky. In the early days, things look normal on the surface; peasants were celebrating harvest festivals in Calabria in 1922; people were shopping and going to the movies in Berlin in 1931. Early on, as WH Auden put it, the horror is always elsewhere - while someone is being tortured, children are skating, ships are sailing: "dogs go on with their doggy life ... How everything turns away/ Quite leisurely from the disaster."

As Americans turn away quite leisurely, keeping tuned to internet shopping and American Idol, the foundations of democracy are being fatally corroded. Something has changed profoundly that weakens us unprecedentedly: our democratic traditions, independent judiciary and free press do their work today in a context in which we are "at war" in a "long war" - a war without end, on a battlefield described as the globe, in a context that gives the president - without US citizens realising it yet - the power over US citizens of freedom or long solitary incarceration, on his say-so alone.

That means a hollowness has been expanding under the foundation of all these still- free-looking institutions - and this foundation can give way under certain kinds of pressure. To prevent such an outcome, we have to think about the "what ifs".

What if, in a year and a half, there is another attack - say, God forbid, a dirty bomb? The executive can declare a state of emergency. History shows that any leader, of any party, will be tempted to maintain emergency powers after the crisis has passed. With the gutting of traditional checks and balances, we are no less endangered by a President Hillary than by a President Giuliani - because any executive will be tempted to enforce his or her will through edict rather than the arduous, uncertain process of democratic negotiation and compromise.

What if the publisher of a major US newspaper were charged with treason or espionage, as a rightwing effort seemed to threaten Keller with last year? What if he or she got 10 years in jail? What would the newspapers look like the next day? Judging from history, they would not cease publishing; but they would suddenly be very polite.

Right now, only a handful of patriots are trying to hold back the tide of tyranny for the rest of us - staff at the Center for Constitutional Rights, who faced death threats for representing the detainees yet persisted all the way to the Supreme Court; activists at the American Civil Liberties Union; and prominent conservatives trying to roll back the corrosive new laws, under the banner of a new group called the American Freedom Agenda. This small, disparate collection of people needs everybody's help, including that of Europeans and others internationally who are willing to put pressure on the administration because they can see what a US unrestrained by real democracy at home can mean for the rest of the world.

We need to look at history and face the "what ifs". For if we keep going down this road, the "end of America" could come for each of us in a different way, at a different moment; each of us might have a different moment when we feel forced to look back and think: that is how it was before - and this is the way it is now.

"The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands ... is the definition of tyranny," wrote James Madison. We still have the choice to stop going down this road; we can stand our ground and fight for our nation, and take up the banner the founders asked us to carry.

Zeitgeist - The Movie

A friend e-mailed me another documentary that I completely forgot about. "Zeitgeist - The Movie: Federal Reserve". Very outstanding film! This is a must see for any American. It exposes the Federal Reserve for what it truly is, a fraud. We're so oblivious to whats going on! So, go on and fire up some neurons!

(UPDATE: I found the full version, enjoy!)

A letter to you...

Hello friends,
I just watched a few videos on YouTube. Some real awakening information. Some of you are already awake, and doing your part. Others have not been woken. Or do not wish to know, or pretend that this doesn't effect them. Well, whether you want it to or not it does effect you.
We have all been lied to for many years. We're being guided down the narrow walkway to doom. Much like cattle for slaughter. The longer you stay asleep, the sooner our demise. However, if you choose to awake then the denouement is in our favor. By 'our' I mean We the People.
There are many resources available for you to read, and watch. Here are a few short documentaries I've just watched:

I also suggest Alex Jones' “Endgame: Blueprint for global enslavement”, and “Loose Change: Final Cut”.
I suppose this is a good enough for you to start on. I feel very strongly about getting this information out. We've been lied to, abused, and tyrannized. We come from a very strong background, but we've terribly lost our mentality. We need to get ourselves back on the course to liberty, and return our country to its original state the 'Republic'. After all, how does the pledge of allegiance go?
I'm hoping you will watch these videos, and become motivated to take action. Wake your friends, & family. Knowledge is the very first step. We have to wake the sheeple up! Learn why Ron Paul is the only TRUE American candidate for President. I have never felt so strongly about politics as I do now. I hope you take the red pill, and see what's going on around you. Learn why the American people are being deceived. How far down the rabbit hole are you willing to go?
Simply you could take the blue pill, ignore the videos above, ignore the signs, and go on about your life. Thinking everything is delightful, with your cute rose colored glasses. I don't blame you, it's dreadful knowing, but vital.
With that said, enjoy the short films, and do your own research. Drop a comment, or write me I'd like to hear what you think. I never get any replies to these posts. I don't even know if people read them! If you do, please let me know how you feel about all of this! I really would like to know! Thanks for your time.

-Justin

(I should note that this article is what got me to write this)

Enjoying your stay in the Police State?

Well, I hope you neo-con, and neo-lib creeps are enjoying your stay. Yet another tasering of an innocent civilian has occured. This is only the beginning of our police state. This is called, "Conditioning". They're getting you to accept this sort of behavior. They're conditioning you to be slaves.
Taser has been becoming very popular in the past few years. Many of died because of it. For instance the Polish man who was taser to death at Vancouver International Airport. Also they tasered an 82 year old woman in Chicago! There are many more cases, I suggest you look them up!
People die when they're tasered repeatedly. Don't these people realize this? Not only that, but in non-violent situations there is no need for a taser.
Anyhow, I just thought I take this time to let you folks know whats going on. You can go on being sheep, living your life through your materials, ignoring everything outside of you...do some research, get involved, do something! Investigate Bilderberg, see what Ron Paul is all about, see what his opposition is about, see how much better he is than them! Don't think an Obama, a 'Billery', a Romney, a Giuliani is going to do anything to help you. They are all shills.
I can't rant anymore...just remember one phrase when you see or hear anything, "Doubt it". That's your start into finding the truth.

Glenn Beck: Ignorant

My response to Glenn Beck:
It's a despicable act when you relate Ron Paul supporters to 'terrorists', and extremely false. Hopefully your erroneous remarks will encourage people to seek the truth about what Dr. Paul stands for. He is a true, and real American. I expect a full apology, and retraction for your statement about Ron Paul, and his supporters. Please do some real research.

Thank you.

RELATED: Glenn Beck Deems Ron Paul “Domestic Threat”

Dear Sirs,

CNN and Glenn Beck recently aired an inflammatory and misleading piece comparing Ron Paul supporters to terrorists. Mr. Beck’s irresponsible association has already led to impassioned responses from the large, peaceful and growing Ron Paul community, including a call to boycott CNN’s sponsors, and an eloquent response from a former US Marine.

I was heartened by the Marine’s response. I fully support and encourage the boycott efforts. With this letter, I am also urging everyone within the Ron Paul community to write directly to CNN, requesting that your network and Glenn Beck issue a retraction, clarification and an apologyto Ron Paul and the peaceful Ron Paul community for your wrongful and damaging characterization.

On November 5th, nearly 40,000 hard working Americans donated an average of $98 to Ron Paul’s campaign for president, resulting in one of the biggest one-day online political fundraising events ever. We did it because we are tired of mainstream networks such as yours ignoring us. We did it with the intention of making a news splash so large that you could no longer pretend we do not exist. Our efforts succeeded beyond our wildest expectations, but Mr. Beck’s recent piece has revealed your true colors.

You did something shameful. You chose to portray 40,000 upstanding Americans as terrorists. I find it tragically ironic that Glenn Beck chose a segment called, “A Nation Divided” to compare the peaceful actions of fellow American citizens to terrorists. Mr. Beck’s actions only contribute to the division in this country. Calling this large group of peaceful Americans terrorists is an absolute disgrace, especially in a post-911 America when the Military Commissions Act allows the president, at his sole discretion, to name any American an “enemy combatant.” Your network and Glenn Beck may think it is funny to play fast and loose with this kind of language, but I take this very, very seriously. Nothing could be more divisive than to call fellow law-abiding Americans “terrorists.” Is this how far your network has sunk in its desperate grab for ratings? Shame on you. Shame on you and your editors, for selling out the foundations of our country so readily and so cheaply.

In his piece Mr. Beck erroneously stated that Dr. Paul’s November 5th fundraising was done “to commemorate Guy Fawkes.” What is your source for this statement? This statement is factually incorrect, and I hereby request that you produce your source, or retract it. With this single incorrect fact, Beck goes on to spin an entire piece that only amplifies and distorts his disinformation. Later in the piece, CNN’s guest, David Horowitz, speaking of Ron Paul, says: “I think it is very significant that he chose Guy Fawkes as an image.” This so clearly misinformed that it would be laughable if not for its seriousness. Is it your network's standing policy to allow such woefully misinformed guests on all of your “news” shows? How can you expect informed citizens to believe any of your future program guests if you allow such egregious errors go unchecked and uncorrected? Ron Paul and his official campaign had nothing to do with the organization of this day, so it is impossible that Ron Paul was the one to “choose Guy Fawkes as an image.” Please do not assume that all Americans are complete idiots, nor that we will stand by passively as you broadcast such lies.

Your poorly researched, factually incorrect, sensationalist opinion is exactly what is dividing America and driving citizens from networks such as yours to the unimpeachable honesty and integrity exemplified by Dr. Ron Paul and his peaceful campaign for president. I hereby request that you issue a retraction, clarification and apology to Dr. Paul and his grassroots supporters. Without it, your network will continue its accelerating slide towards the realm of complete irrelevance in the minds of informed Americans.

Sincerely,
Michael Nystrom

Readers, please contact CNN directly using this form for the Glenn Beck show. Be polite, but firmly ask for an apology, clarification and a retraction. This is too serious to let stand. I will have more on why this is so serious in the next few days. Thank you all for your support.

'Democracy cannot survive'

Dan Rather came right out and said some truth!
Somebody's got to take a stand and say democracy cannot survive... with government interference in news

Check out the video at PrisonPlanet.com
With all of whats going on right now, more and more people are waking up. There are always people waking up. There are still so many who need to be shaken out of their hypnotic state, and realize exactly what is happening to us. The globalists are in full control, and have just about derailed America. Our dollar is dropping at a stupendous rate. Oil price estimates surpass $200 by Q4 2008. The propaganda ministry cannot be trusted.
I'd like to think that everyone I know will wake up, and realize we have to take a stand. I don't feel that will happen. Most of us are wrapped up in our daily lives. Not that that is a bad thing, but we are doing so very blindly. We are so well conditioned, it's amazing! Most Americans don't know on what day 9/11 happend! Most Americans can't find Iraq or Iran on a world map! Most Americans don't know more than a couple state capitals! Ahh, but they damn well know who Homer Simpson's son is! Or who Stewie Griffin is.
I don't know why people do not want to know whats going on. Some people feel safe in their cocoons. They like seeing the world in their rose colored glasses. Maybe they feel insignificant to the cause. "What could I possibly do? I'm only one person. Besides this doesn't effect me in any way." WRONG. It will very much effect you sooner or later. And when it does, and these events come to fruition much to late to take action you wish you would have. Learn! Search through the web. Find multiple sources. I'm not saying you have to agree with me. Take some time to research our country, our government, the way things are ment to be. If you don't know these essentials, how do you know when you're being robed of them? How do you know if you're rights are being violated if you don't know your rights in the first place?
The police state is in place. Look deep into news articles and find about innocent people being tazered for no good reason. The most popular is Andrew Meyer. Watch the video of that. There are tons of these events unfolding. Even some of the cops are brainwashed.
I guess what I'm getting at is, just go out and do some research. Look at the whole picture here. Things are coming to a head. Thanks for taking your time to read this. Hopefully this is a first start for you, or just another article in your exploration of facts.

Mike Huckabee is a tool.

[Original Article]

A must read article.

Thursday, Huckabee called Texas Rep. Paul's comments during the debate "ludicrous" and "unacceptable." The former Arkansas governor conflated a previous debate comment with Wednesday's debate to suggest that Paul blamed America for 9/11

Stupid in America

There is no question that American public schools are despicable. They're unionized monopolies. I also question their federal curriculum. Instead of going on about this, just watch the latest 20/20 report about the whole situation.

Little Update

Most of you know about Wikipedia. Basically, an ever growing encyclopedia which anyone can add to, or delete information. Now there are company's looking at their Wiki sites, and deleting "negative" information. Disney is one. And guess who another is? Diebold! Hm! I found that absolutely great! An excerpt from Techdirt:

This will probably come as a surprise to absolutely no one, but a new Wikipedia scanner service is matching the IP address of Wikipedia edits to the organizations the IPs are associated with -- and it's turning up some interesting matches. For example, there's the person coming from a Diebold IP who deleted paragraphs and paragraphs of Wikipedia content that highlighted Diebold's ongoing security problems. Then there's the Disney employee who tried to pull a link to Cory Doctorow's speech on why DRM is bad for business from the DRM entry. Wired is actually keeping a running tally of some of the most interesting edits. Now, before people use this as more evidence as to Wikipedia's trust problems, it doesn't look like those edits did much damage, as they were quickly changed back to the more appropriate entries by those watching out for vandalism.

Wired is actually keeping track of who is editing what. Go check it out! Thought it was worth posting, considering yesterdays post about the Iowa Straw Poll and faulty Diebold machines.

Voter Fraud

Well, Ron Paul came in 5th at the Iowa Straw Poll. Not bad, and also in my eyes, not real great. For those of you who don't know, the Iowa Straw Poll is basically a mock vote. Doesn't count for anything. I think it's mostly used for fund raising, and getting their word out. Of course the Ron Paul supporters were very disappointed (as was I). Something did come up though, a couple of the diebold machines malfunctioned. Which diebold machines a notorious for doing. I mean just do a google search for diebold malfunction and you'll see what I'm talking about. These things are highly unrelyable. However, at least they still have a paper trail. So they tallied up the paper votes. Guess who was in charge of that? Apparently it was one of Mitt Romney's campaign staff (specifically Romney for President Leadership Team)! Now, is that conflict of interest or is it just me?
Also, theres some issues with the attendees of the Iowa Straw Poll. According to "WhatReallyHappended.com" 26,000 Tickets were sold and only 14,302 votes were counted. As Mr. Rivero put it,

" Now think about that for a minute. 26,000 people purchase tickets to go to a Straw Poll event, and yet we are to believe that 12,000 of those people couldn’t even care less about the voting part? Just what were they there for?

I don't buy it. This is not believable. An Investigation is needed here.
I don't need an investigation."

I think there should be an in depth look into this. Nothing terribly drastic. One of Ron Paul's supporters actually threatened to sue! I don't think it should come to that. Nonetheless action should be taken.

China Owns America

It's as simple as that.

[Original Link]

Uncle Sam, Your Banker Will See You Now

By Paul Craig Roberts

08/08/07 "ICH" --- - Early this morning China let the idiots in Washington, and on Wall Street, know that it has them by the short hairs. Two senior spokesmen for the Chinese government observed that China’s considerable holdings of US dollars and Treasury bonds “contributes a great deal to maintaining the position of the dollar as a reserve currency.”

Should the US proceed with sanctions intended to cause the Chinese currency to appreciate, “the Chinese central bank will be forced to sell dollars, which might lead to a mass depreciation of the dollar.”

If Western financial markets are sufficiently intelligent to comprehend the message, US interest rates will rise regardless of any further action by China. At this point, China does not need to sell a single bond. In an instant, China has made it clear that US interest rates depend on China, not on the Federal Reserve.

The precarious position of the US dollar as reserve currency has been thoroughly ignored and denied. The delusion that the US is “the world’s sole superpower,” whose currency is desirable regardless of its excess supply, reflects American hubris, not reality. This hubris is so extreme that only 6 weeks ago McKinsey Global Institute published a study that concluded that even a doubling of the US current account deficit to $1.6 trillion would pose no problem.

Strategic thinkers, if any remain who have not been purged by neocons, will quickly conclude that China’s power over the value of the dollar and US interest rates also gives China power over US foreign policy. The US was able to attack Afghanistan and Iraq only because China provided the largest part of the financing for Bush’s wars.

If China ceased to buy US Treasuries, Bush’s wars would end. The savings rate of US consumers is essentially zero, and several million are afflicted with mortgages that they cannot afford. With Bush’s budget in deficit and with no room in the US consumer’s budget for a tax increase, Bush’s wars can only be financed by foreigners.

No country on earth, except for Israel, supports the Bush regimes’ desire to attack Iran. It is China’s decision whether it calls in the US ambassador, and delivers the message that there will be no attack on Iran or further war unless the US is prepared to buy back $900 billion in US Treasury bonds and other dollar assets.

The US, of course, has no foreign reserves with which to make the purchase. The impact of such a large sale on US interest rates would wreck the US economy and effectively end Bush’s war-making capability. Moreover, other governments would likely follow the Chinese lead, as the main support for the US dollar has been China’s willingness to accumulate them. If the largest holder dumped the dollar, other countries would dump dollars, too.

The value and purchasing power of the US dollar would fall. When hard-pressed Americans went to Wal-Mart to make their purchases, the new prices would make them think they had wandered into Nieman Marcus. Americans would not be able to maintain their current living standard.

Simultaneously, Americans would be hit either with tax increases in order to close a budget deficit that foreigners will no longer finance or with large cuts in income security programs. The only other source of budgetary finance would be for the government to print money to pay its bills. In this event, Americans would experience inflation in addition to higher prices from dollar devaluation.

This is a grim outlook. We got in this position because our leaders are ignorant fools. So are our economists, many of whom are paid shills for some interest group. So are our corporate leaders whose greed gave China power over the US by offshoring the US production of goods and services to China. It was the corporate fat cats who turned US Gross Domestic Product into Chinese imports, and it was the “free trade, free market economists” who egged it on.

How did a people as stupid as Americans get so full of hubris?

Paul Craig Roberts was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan administration. He was Associate Editor of the Wall Street Journal editorial page and Contributing Editor of National Review. He is coauthor of The Tyranny of Good Intentions.

Great interview with 9/11 Fireman

Give this a watch. It's 45min, kinda long for most people, I know, but it cuts through the bullshit and comes from someone who was there. Any interview from the firemen that were at ground zero are great to watch.

ABC Dwarfs Ron Paul's Supporters

I love this! On the ABC News website, they showed a picture of Mitt Romney's Supporters, all grouped together with signs raised high. As for Ron Paul's supporters (supporter, apparently) a picture of a lone man, with his Ron Paul sign held sadly lower. ABC used its bag of tricks during the debate as well. Try as they might, Ron Paul is still gaining popularity. He IS our only hope.
